Napoleon Dynamite is a very funny film that presents the isolation, sorrow, and strangeness of growing up in an unpretentious, and thoroughly engaging way. While some may compare the film to Rushmore, this has none of the affected smugness of that film. The characters are honest and engaging, and the acting is stellar. Highly recommend.
